Avete presente la casa del film Ex Machina? Quando ho visto questo bellissimo film mi sono innamorata del suo scenario e il location. Ho fatto una ricerca e ho scoperto che si tratta proprio di questo resort di Design in Norvegia del nord-occidentale, situato ad Altastad.
L’armonia tra architettura e la natura e il concetto di sostenibilità sono aspetti fondamentali di juvet landscape Hotel. Con i suoi volumi distinti di ogni singola camera ricoperti da superfici di legno e grandi vetrate. In questo progetto quindi le camere non sono concentrate in un unico volume architettonico, la cui impronta sul territorio sarebbe diventata pesante, ma suddivise in piccoli cubi su palafitte innestate fra le rocce. Il tutto attorno a una vecchia fattoria, preesistente, attentamente recuperata e che ora funge da sala da pranzo e reception. Negli interni si presentano scure rifiniture e accomodanti poltrone per godere i suggestivi paesaggi. Ogni camera si affaccia sugli scorci unici sulle profonde gole, sulle montagne e sui fiumi del parco naturale.
Una costruzione dotato di ogni comfort, il resort di design in Norvegia vanta di uno spa che assicura un contatto diretto con la natura.
Tra la costruzione del nuovo edificio e la ristrutturazione della vecchia fattoria ci sono voluti cinque anni di lavoro per la massima attenzione alla salvaguardia dell’ambiente naturale e anche quella culturale. Per realizzare questo resort, lo studio Jensen & Skodvin ha affidato l’esecuzione di quasi tutti i lavori agli artigiani locali.

Comunque quello che mi ha affascinato tanto di questo resort non è solo il location, ma come si è integrato nella natura e come gli architetti sono riusciti a realizzare questo progetto così in armonia con il paesaggio circostante 🙂
